The 2 days Murchison Falls National Park Uganda Safari gives you an opportunity to visit Uganda’s oldest and largest national park by travellers taking on Uganda safaris.
On your journey to the park, you will stop at Zziwa rhino sanctuary in Nakasongola district. When you reach the park, you’ll go on an evening game drive and a morning boat cruise on the Victoria Nile.
- Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
Leave Kampala driving northwestern Uganda through Masindi to reach the park. Stopover at Zziwa rhino sanctuary for an experience with the white rhinos. For the rest of the journey enjoy the vegetation and various plant species as well as the sight of the northwestern communities.
Check into your lodge and for an evening game drive where you will see Elephants, Giraffes, Warthogs, different Antelope species, Lions, Buffaloes, Hippopotamuses and if you are in luck you might catch a glimpse of a leopard as well as various bird species. Return for dinner and overnight at your preferred lodge.
Day 2 of the 2 days Murchison Falls National Park Uganda Safari: Transfer to Kampala
Watch the sunrise at its best as you take an early morning game drive through the park via the delta where you will catch at least 4 of the big five.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and go for the morning boat cruise where you will see herds of elephants and buffaloes on the shoreline of the victoria Nile as well as a bloat of hippopotamuses and crocodiles basking in the sun.
You will also be privileged to see the magnificent Murchison waterfalls as they thunderously plunge into the Victoria Nile creating a spectacular rainbow at the bottom.
You will also get to see various aquatic birds such as the Giant king Fischer. Return to the lodge, checkout and commence on your journey back to Kampala.
