Safari by day in Details: 8 days Uganda Wildlife Safari Gorilla Trekking Tour and Primates trip adventure to Bwindi Impenetrable forest, Queen Elizabeth national park and Kibale forest national park.
Day 1: Arrival at either Entebbe International Airport or Kampala the Capital of Uganda
Welcome to Uganda. On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Kampala for the overnight, Imperial Royale Hotel or similar (C). BB
Day 2 – transfer from either Entebbe International Airport or Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where mountain gorilla trekking is done
Leave Kampala in the morning. Stopover at the Equator, a famous spot for photography. For the rest of the journey view the long-horned Ankole cattle papyrus acacia woodlands and terraced landscape of Kigezi high lands on your way to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
Lunch en-route in Mbarara. Dinner and overnight Mahogany Springs /Gorilla Safari Lodge or Silverback Lodge/ Nkuringo Safari Lodge (M). FB *Depending on the available sector*
Day 3 – full day adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable forest going mountain gorilla trekking activity
Early morning entry into the gorilla sanctuary of Bwindi Forest. The rainforest is spectacular as it is dense with its landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails that can be accessed by tourists.
This park is best known for the fascinating mountain gorillas. The time is taken and terrain varies according to the movements of these primates. The thrill of spending time with and observing the gorillas is a wonderful and exciting adventure.
The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience watching and taking photographs of them as they interact with each other. Dinner and overnight as above. FB
Day 4 – Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable forest park to Queen Elizabeth through the Ishasha sector where you will sight the tree climbing Lions
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth through the Ishasha sector; go for a game drive in the open Savannah in search of the tree-climbing lions. These rare lions are found only in this part of the park.
It’s impressive to look at them while they are resting on top of the fig trees. Lunch en-route. Afternoon, proceed to the Mweya peninsula. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (C). FB
Day 5 – The boat cruise on Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a cup of coffee, embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens’s mile tracks in the park and expect to see lions, elephants, cape buffalo, warthogs, leopard, spotted hyena, mongoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, topi and a lot of small animals and birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax at the swimming pool.
After lunch aboard, the boat cruise for the best navigation of the Kazinga Channel, a good experience for birding, as you will see many water birds, cormorants, pelicans, eagles, as well as crocodiles, hippos, elephants. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (C).FB
Day 6 – Transfer from Queen Elizabeth national park to Kibale forest National Park where Chimpanzee tracking activity is done from
Leave the park after breakfast and drive to Fort Portal. In the afternoon you will go for the chimpanzee and primate trekking in the forest. dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge (C). FB
Day 7: drive to Semuliki National park for a nature walk and cultural encounters. Here you will interact with the Batwa pygmies
Drive to Bundibujo. The road is winding with breath-taking views. You will stop at Ntandi to visit the Pygmies and learn about their culture and way of living.
Proceed to Semliki National Park where you will visit the Sempaya hot springs. Lunch will be en-route. Return to Fort Portal. Dinner and overnight at as above. FB
Day 8 – This day is reserved for departure. FB
